Form 1095

As part of the Affordable Care Act, a new tax form may be showing up in your mail box in January. This would be Form 1095-A which is required to be sent to anyone who enrolls in a health plan through the Marketplace. The information on this form will be needed to compute tax credits that you may be eligible for on your tax return. There are also Forms 1095-B and 1095-C which are not mandatory for the 2014 year but will be mandatory for 2015, however you may receive one of these forms if the issuers choose to implement it a year early.
